Jason lost his his first tooth.

Jason lost his first tooth Thursday, December 12. He said his tooth fell off while he was in class. It had been loose for awhile. He was happy to have the tooth fairy visit him. FYI... The toothfairy paid him $2.00.

Thanksgiving 2013.

This year we gave thanks in the Gomez house. We were extremely happy to have the Moya family join us.
Our little sister is all grown up. She cooked the turkey and an oreo cheesecake for the family this year. I have to say it was delicious!
Thank you Gomez family for opening your home for our gatherings.

This year I am grateful that God gave me the joy of being a mom again. I am thankful for having my boys and now my little girl. I am thankful that Louis is very focus and studious. Thankful that Michael has a wonderful sense of humor. Thankful for Jason's innocence and happyness. Thankful for Emily's bright smile.
Thankful for my nieces and nephews you all are a piece of my heart.
Thankful for my husband. It is such a joy to see the way you and Emi have created a beautiful bond.
Thankful for Life. Love. And Laughter.

Celebrating a birthday Monster Style!

November 23rd

We celebrated Aaron's 4th birthday. It is not often that you get to attend a bithday party for a college student. Yes, that's right Aaron goes to college and he is very proud of it.

Emily is walking!

She turned 9 months on October 26th. The next day she woke up and decided she was ready to take her first steps. She has been gaining confidence daily taking more steps on her own.

April babies update

Andrew this month started teething.  He is also eating a combo-special meal that his grandma Consuelo makes him. This combo consists of baby cereal and baby food. Andrew loves it! Andrew also had his six month check-up he now weighs 21 lbs and is 27 inches long. This month Andrew got 5 vaccine shots. Ouch. Talking about ouches Andrew had his first fall. Yes he is ok. He fell of a booster chair that was on a chair. Worried mom and dad took him to the ER. Doctor explained to them that this the first of many.
Emily is now 3 months.  She weighs about 13 lbs and is still 24.5 inches. She is trying to roll over. Hasn't mastered it yet,  but we are keeping a closer eye on her. This month she had an accident.  The girls (Prici and Desi) came over and changed her. They did not like the oufit I had picked for her. I think with all the changes she got a bit fuzzy, so tia Carol grabbed her and picked her up, when all of a sudden Emily emptied her stomach on her tia. Luckily tia Carol is fast and was able to close her mouth before any vomit went in her mouth. Carol had milk all the way from her mouth to her neck and stomach Yukkk... Sorry Carol.

April's Recap

We tend to have a busy life so let's recap our month.
In the Gomez side of the family. The girls Desi and Prici both tryout for cheerleading for next year. We are proud to say they both got in!
The Zamoras have been busy. We are excieted to say we finally have a car that fits our growing family.  We no longer will need to travel in two cars. The new (to us) suburban will fit our travelling needs. 
The boys have been busy with school. Louis had mid-terms this month.  While Michael worked on his balloon-powered race car.
Jason and Emily met their 93 year old great-grandmother. It was nice seeing her.
The boys and I attended our first rock and gem show. Not rock n' roll but a rock show. It was interesting and we learned a lot about rocks. We also saw a show on volcanoes that Jason really enjoyed. 
As a family we all went to LA Children's Hospital to donate blood. It is turning out to be a family tradition. Thanks Xio for organising it.
Easter was this month and we celebrated at Gomez house. We had chicken and teriyaki kabobs.

Baby news

Andrew is now 6 months and more active then ever. He is flipping over and jumping. He is trying to craw and walk. His favorite toy is his set of rings and he loves playing with toy keys.
Emily is two months old she is 11 lbs and 5 oz. She is a tall girl measuring 24.5 inches. She is cooing and interacting more. Her hair is growing and getting curly.

Blog Revived!

Hello to all, I have been asked by two special kids to continue the blog. I agree, I think its an awesome idea. (Thanks Derek and Destiny) I will be posting on a monthly basis on the last week of the month. Here we go! March has been a busy month. We have a lot to celebrate and share. We also have a bit of sad news. I'll begin with the sad news: Hector ended his 6 year relationship with his LG Versa. Dear LG Versa, the family will miss your flip open keyboard and your worn-out leather cover. We will never forget its weight, LG Versa you were the heaviest phone we knew. In other news. The Zamora, The Gomez and The Pulido Family has fought the flu and the pink eye this month. Talking about eyes Aaron, got his first black eye falling down the stairs. In the sports world. Prici had her first softball game. The family has once again been bitten by the Chess bug. Louis is in the Chess club at the college; he even beat his Calculus professor in a game of Chess. Derek, Destiny and Jason started going to chess club. Michael this month received an award for Citizenship award. Michael you make us pround. We also want to wish Michael good luck on his Google Doodle contest. If he wins he can receive a scholarship worth up to $30k. Good Luck! Before we wrap up this month we have to share a picture of Destiny's birthday. And lastly I want to warn all drivers out there. Pretty soon Desi will be driving. This month she went to driving school and passed. She is ready to take her written and driving test at the DMV. Congrats Desi!

Family Blessing

Our family was blessed in January with the arrival of Emily Grace. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 21 inches long. We are thrilled with her fast and healthy arrival. We are humbled to know that God heard our prayers and granted us the opportunity to be parents again. Emily the entire family is happy to have you. We will all help to support you and guide you in your mission in life.
