2nd Gup Red Belt Testing

Today Louis and Michael tested for their next red belt. They are working very hard to obtain their black belt, they are three belts away. Testing is every two months and each test lasts about three hours. During this time they are tested on their Forms, 1 and 3 Step Sparring, Basic Kicks, Basic Movements, and an Oral Test. Louis beat two master instuctors and a deputy blackbelt with one punch and a mean stare. He punched one and sent two flying, one to the mirror breaking it and the other crashing onto a table, the last fainted when Louis looked at him. Master Yin was most pleased. LOUIS! Get off my blog only mom is allowed to post on here. Sorry my son is dreaming as I was saying... The boys did an awesome job. Henry and I are very proud of them.

We celebrated Carol's Birthday on Friday. We had a blast! Our family drove from LA to come and celebrate with her. My mom put it best in words. "Esa chaparrita vale su peso en oro" Shorty is worth her weight in gold! Happy Birthday!

The main attraction at the Reagan Library and the favorite of the boys has to be Air Force One. The Boys enjoyed seeing the inside of Air Force One. To know that we had walked through a plane where seven presidents had been was surreal.

Louis 14th Birthday

Louis 14th birthday! We had dinner at Famous Daves with the Gomez Family. Then went back to the Gomez home for icecream cake with them. The Lopez family was also there.

Jason is ONE! He had a blast! He enjoyed breaking the pinata, and he loved the candy. Grandma Abby and his Nina Carol got him a jumper and the pinata. Thanks again!

Getty Villa Malibu

Visit to the Getty Villa in Malibu with the Castaneda Family. Irma's Daughter and her family were visiting Irma for the Holidays. The Villa is beautiful and the views to the ocean are breath taking.

Mom's Birthday

Family, friends, music and dancing is all mom wanted for her birthday! Happy 50th Birthday!

SNOW DAY 2008

Lancaster got about 7 inches of snow, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to end the year then by playing in the snow.
